A big thank you...

This is a post to say thank you to a little miss Sora Leo. It was her last day Friday 30Th October Sora is going to be exploring the big wide fashion world and we all wish her the best luck in the world.

We love our job!
Its a lot of fun getting the girls to dress up for a Halloween promotion! These Halloween costumes were chosen by our girls to give you some inspiration and ideas for Halloween!
Our puuurrfect Sora is a scary cat, she is wearing Motel's Sarah dress in grey leopard, complete with ears, fangs and a tail! Remember these things are available in a Halloween pack for £2.50!

Its queen Beelzebub Kelly! looking devilish in this Elle dress in Boraque print. Now this is a hot little printed dress! check out the back, It has 2 bows running down a sexy low scooped back.

The witch, shes an evil one and shes wearing the very popular Vicky dress. It is a one shoulder little black dress with a beautiful lace sleeve detail.

The undead... Emily is wearing the sexy Helen dress i love the button detailing and paneling on the front is super slimming! The leggings as you can see have very cool lace panelling on the back of them they're very individual!

Arghh its beetlejuice... no its out never own Becka Maskell. Very convincing! Becka wears the Lorraine dress in drawing stripe and the Jesse Jacket in drawing stripe!

Do the Motel Monster Mash

Hello ghoulish girls!

Its Halloween, my favourite time of year!
This year the scary Motel girls have done a gruesome job of decorating the shop check them out below.

The ghouls put up fake cobweb on the window it looks really eerie and super effective!
On the left and right glass panel Hannah drew scary railing with signs warning people to "stay away" with bats and creepy crawlies hanging from them it looks super cool! Its attracted a lot of people in and we've received some great comments so thank you!

We have a Halloween promotion this week, the ghouls created five different Halloween outfits out of the Motel garments we have :

All the outfits in the window have 20% off as well but to top it off we are selling monster mash Halloween costume pack for £2.50 each one for each costume is different but includes everything you need to look horrifying this Halloween plus special Motel goodies. But hurry because it is limited stock! I know I'm going to be the vampire its a classic and a goodie!!

Vintage finds...

Hello its em again, wanted to share with you some vintage furniture i picked up at a local charity shop. Thinking about having something in the shop for display... tell me what you think!

This is a Singer sewing machine and it still works, the detail on the machine is beautiful it has gold Egyptian gods on the platform of the machine

This is my favourite piece of furniture its very unusual with the full length mirror in the middle and two drawers on either side. the detail is beautiful on the edges of the mirror, the wood has been carved into flower shapes. If you think it would be a nice idea or pieces similar to go into the shop please comment. Goodnight x

Our 10th Birthday night

OK, so i told you about the discount evening we we're holding and the after party we would be having... and well i thought I'd let you know what an amazing time we had!

People love a bit of 90's dance and we had a great crowd all night!!

Here's a couple of videos of the discount evenings...

This is when everyone first started entering the shop.. we close about 40Min's before we open and we have people queuing from an hour before the doors open! It's crazy!! You can see here people through the window queuing to get in. It ends up in a one in, one out job! Sadly my memory card went before i had enough time to get more!!

Here's one a little later with people gathered towards the back of the shop! I shortly had to sop filming and start serving a queue that went around the whole edge of the shop!!:


We then followed with our DJ set in Thekla.. Here's some of he gorgeous girls we took photos of for our comp 'Win a night out on Motel'







And our lovely Comp winner is.....Adele!!!


Adele is taking her treat this Thursday when a friend is visiting her ! She's going to drop by the next day (hangover pending) and let us take a couple of snaps with her new hair and dress !! Well done Adele !!!
